Second Seychelles Economic Day - Normandy: Towards a greater partnership with Normandy

The half-day trade was attended by the Minister of Social Affairs, Community Development and Sport Vincent Meriton, the mayor of the Normandy town of Berneval le Grand Patrice Philippe, president of the community of communes of Petit Caux Patrick Martin, representatives of Peking University, teachers, students, sportsmen and other guests.
Minister Meriton noted that Seychelles islands, "and we sail like islands in a very turbulent ocean."
He added that since it is difficult to operate in a world so hard and despite our small size, Seychelles want to be visible in this world. This meeting is part of this search for visibility, he said.
To remind that Normandy is located in north-western France. The region is further divided into two sub-regions, the Upper and Lower Normandy.
