ILO regional director meets Vice-President Faure - 29.11.2011

The regional director for Africa of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Charles Dan paid a courtesy call on Vice-President Danny Faure at State House yesterday.

Also present at the talks were the Minister for Education, Employment and Human Resources Macsuzy Mondon and the principal secretary for the department of employment Marina Confait.

Seychelles is among five countries under the supervision of the ILO country office in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

Mr Dan was appointed regional director for Africa and assistant director-general of the ILO as well as the organisation’s special representative to the African Union Commission and to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in July 2008.
